Movable Ink is Hiring an Event Marketing Manager Near New York, NY

Movable Ink scales content personalization for marketers through data-activated content generation and AI decisioning. Movable Ink has a sophisticated events program that drives revenue and retention for our business and we're looking for an energetic and enthusiastic event marketer to bring our programs to the next level. This role will work alongside our marketing, sales, client experience, strategy, and product marketing teams to plan and execute events and marketing programs that create an affinity for Movable Ink and drive our pipeline goals. Our Events Marketing Manager is a fast-paced marketer that loves live events, email marketing, and creating phenomenal experiences across physical and digital touch- points. This candidate must be comfortable working in person at the New York City office 1-2 times/week. This role will join the Growth Marketing team and report into our Director of Audience Engagement.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage event logistics including sourcing venues and activities, managing guest lists and event websites, coordinating with internal teams to create event content, and managing external vendors.
  • Create unique in-person experiences for our audience that help impact pipeline, booking, and retention goals.
  • Develop and execute event marketing strategies to drive registration and attendance including email cadences and social media.
  • Manage budgets to maximize performance metrics.
  • Oversee all on-site logistics for assigned events which will include travel (both domestic and international).
  • Identify opportunities to work with industry partners through sponsorships, speaking opportunities, and more.

Qualifications:

  • 4 years of event marketing experience, preferably B2B with experience in email marketing.
  • Thrives in collaborative, fast-paced environments.
  • Ability to work in-person from the New York City office 1-2 times/week
  • Experience working with Event Management Technology (Splash, Cvent, Bizzabo, or others)
  • Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple events at once while staying on top of varying deadlines and deliverables.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to keep internal stakeholders informed and create compelling event marketing programs.

The base pay range for this position is $80,000-$90,000 USD/year, which can include additional on-target commission pay/bonus. The base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Stock options and other incentive pay may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, depending on the position ultimately offered.
