US Family Health Plan @ St. Vincent's Catholic Medical Center is Hiring a Marketing Assistant/ Event Planner Near New York, NY

JOB SUMMARY

Work under the direction of the Marketing Supervisor to support the day to day functions in the Marketing/Sales Division of USFHP.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Marketing Assistant:

  • Offer administrative support to the Marketing Department
  • Provide assistance with filing, answering phones, processing payments, and offer general support to the administrative staff as needed
  • Assist with ongoing marketing campaigns by collecting member feedback, creating graphs, charts, and slides to present to decision-makers.
  • Undertaking daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities.
  • Supporting marketing leadership in organizing various projects Assist in the organizing of promotional events and traditional or digital campaigns and attend them to facilitate their success

Event Planner:

  • Event planning, design and production while managing all project delivery elements within time limits
  • Liaise with HBC’s to identify their needs to optimize branding and enrollment opportunities.
  • Negotiate sponsorship agreements with community partners.
  • Provide feedback and periodic reports to stakeholders
  • Propose ideas to improve provided services and event quality
  • Specify staff requirements and coordinate their activities
  • Work with marketing team and organizer to promote and publicize event
  • Proactively handle any arising issues and troubleshoot any emerging problems on the event day
  • Conduct pre- and post – event evaluations and report on outcomes
  • Organizing facilities and details such as USFHP presence, entertainment, special guests, equipment, promotional material etc.

EXPERIENCE

  • Good understanding of office management and marketing principles
  • Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
  • Well-organized with a customer-oriented approach
  • Good knowledge of market research techniques and databases
  • Proven experience as an Events Planner or Organizer
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • Sales skills and ability to build productive business relationships
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently

Skills/Competencies

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, marketing computer software and online applications (CRM tools, Online analytics, Google Adwords etc.)
  • Good communication and people skills

Education/Certifications/License

High School diploma; BSc in Marketing, Business or relevant field is a strong advantage

SALARY RANGE: $48,500.00 to $52,000.00

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,500.00 - $52,000.00 per year
