What You’ll Do at Monteith Construction

You will work to ensure a safe and quality project to deliver an exceptional building for our clients. Below, you will find some of the duties that you will perform as an Estimator:

• Review and maintain pricing from a historical database for new & conceptual bid projects
• Review proposal specifications, drawings, attend bid meetings, etc. to determine the scope of work and required contents of estimate
• Prepare estimates and complete takeoff of multiple scopes of work division
• Understand Conceptual Budgeting, GMP, and CM at Risk bidding processes
• Interface with owner, contractors and others, to provide cost data regarding project feasibility
• Follow awarded contracts to include – Financial Costing meetings, Project management support, change orders, etc.
• Use of electronic take-off software and office applications; Planswift, iSqFt, Excel, Modelogix, Autodesk CAD/ Revit / Assemble, Outlook, etc.
