Rebar Estimator

Position available with M&N Construction Supply Company in their Raleigh (Tryon Road) location for a Rebar Estimator. The position will be responsible for estimating reinforcing steel for concrete and masonry structures; rebar and wire mesh placement support and accessory products; and forming and installation accessories. Will also compile project specific bid packages and create contract sales quotes to multiple customers. Will also coordinate project awards and contract administration. Will use knowledge of A.C.I. and C.R.S.I. standards to maintain compliance with commercial, industrial, and residential construction standards in take-off and estimating practices. Will follow up existing quotes and gather information form sales resources to plan and execute bid schedules. Must be an excellent communicator, be customer-oriented, team oriented, and be able to multi-task in a complex, fast-paced environment. Must have proven analytical and problem-solving skills, be deadline-driven and handle changing priorities. Requires understanding of computer-related skills in AsA Software, Word, Excel, Bluebeam (or other Advanced PDF Software) and other business software. Ability to read and interpret Structural, Architectural, Civil, Mechanical, Landscaping, and other Construction Discipline’s blue prints and Project Specification Manuals is required. Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
