Triangle Roofing Services, a licensed general contractor specializing in commercial roofing, is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. Under the general direction of Executive Management and the Operations Manager, the Estimator will prepare estimates for commercial roofing work. No roofing experience needed - just a passion for estimations, mathematics, and organization!

Responsibilities:
- Independently search for suitable projects to bid on.
- Analyze blueprints and other documentation to generate accurate time, cost, materials, and labor estimates for commercial roofing projects.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure precise cost estimates and effectively manage changes.
- Submit bids and budgets promptly to meet deadlines consistently.
- Cultivate and nurture customer relationships to secure profitable repeat business.
- Obtain a comprehensive understanding of the scope for each specific bid.
- Coordinate with the Superintendent during project closeout, ensuring all necessary documents are compiled and submitted.
- Regularly visit job sites to monitor progress and anticipate potential issues.
- Keep track of job costs on a weekly basis.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED, with an Associates Degree preferred.
- Previous construction estimating experience, no roofing experience required.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to accurately follow instructions given by supervisors and written specifications.
- A valid driver's license.
- Ability to ascend and descend ladders, scaffolds, and stairs occasionally.
Salary and Benefits:
- Full Time
- Starting salary at $70,000 - $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
