What You Will Do

• Read and understand job ticket
• Confirm Material SKU on job ticket attached to material on the line
• Review first article sign-off for visual confirmation of final product on ticket
• Assign temporary associates to positions based on knowledge and skill set
• Assign Millennium employees strategically to positions on production line to monitor and train temp associates (Areas of concentration: pre-build, collating/build line, material expediting, cartoner, pack out)
• Produce first off then deconstruct and compare build to 1st article before starting production
• Record first off and subsequent hourly pulls, confirming proper build position, product- specific components, and quality of individual components
• Utilize Material Request Form and confirm material refresh before introducing to the production line
• Monitor production line segments for bottlenecks, performance improvements, best practice training opportunities ("show, do not tell")
• Monitor for safety – pinch points between conveyors, guards in place, minimize range of motion, proper lifting, and use of material-handling equipment

What You Will Bring

• Typically requires high school diploma or equivalent
• Requires 2 – 5 years of experience in a printing or manufacturing environment
• Requires at least 1 year of leadership experience
• Ability to read and follow written work instructions
• Ability to read and understand product labeling
• Familiarity with paper production and packing process highly desired
• Ability analyze, problem solve, and drive results with minimal supervision
• Must be able to stand for several hours at a time
• Ability to sit or stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and to move around in office and manufacturing environments
