Responsibilities

Millennium Corporation is hiring a Systems Engineer to work 100% Remote. Qualified candidate must have an active Secret Clearance.

The Systems Engineer will: 

• Coordinate system development tasks to include design and integration.
• Oversee all transitions into production.
• Participate in and, if needed, lead Systems Engineering Technical Reviews (SETR) such as Preliminary Design Reviews (PDR) and Critical Design Review (CDR).
• Evaluate and review vendor technical documentation and provide feedback on gaps or recommendations for document improvements to Government customers.
• Gather and organize engineering artifacts such as, Risk & Issues, Action Plans, and checklists.
• Maintain technical documentation to ensure efficient planning and execution.
• Provide advice and recommendations on technical issues within the program.
• Serve as facilitator and Point of Contact for document revisions (e.g., policy and operational documents, SOPs, manuals).
• Assess program standards and procedures, analyze for effectiveness, and recommend appropriate changes.
• Ensures system hardware and software are compatible and capable of required performance metrics.
• Acts as Lead Systems Engineer when required.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have an active Secret Clearance.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Operations Research, Mathematics, Physics, or related field OR High School Diploma and at least eighteen (18) years of relevant experience.

• At least fifteen (15) years of practical experience in systems engineering.
• Knowledge of Agile methodology.
• Knowledge of JIRA/Confluence.
• Knowledge of Cyber related documentation for IATT/IATO ATO and DOD cyber policies.

Business Development

Assist with Business Development activities as required to support Millennium's strategic business objectives, which may include but not limited to participation in technical interviews, creation of technical documentation, general proposal writing support and proposal color reviews.

Physical Requirements

• Must be comfortable with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 10-15 pounds at a time.
