The Opportunity
Michelin Connected Fleet, is looking for a driven Small and Medium Business (SMB) Account Executive to join our growing team. Does the thought of winning sales, driving a business forward, and achieving results excite you? If so, this is your chance to make an impact as an Account Executive on the Michelin Connected Fleet sales team, where you’ll close sales and win new business within a defined territory.
What You’ll Do
  • Work within a defined geographic territory to close sales, win business, and reach sales goals.
  • Your focus will be on companies with fleets ranging from 20 to 100 vehicles.
  • Close sales by recommending the right solutions to help prospective clients understand the real needs of their businesses
  • Earn referral business by connecting with existing and soon-to-be clients, and forging partnerships in-person and over the phone with key decision makers at the C-level
  • Collaborate with various teams within the company on a regular basis who will partner with you as you secure new business
  • Potential travel up to 40%
The Ideal Candidate
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1-3 years of business-to-business sales experience (preferably field sales) within a results-driven environment
  • Demonstrated cold calling sales ability, with an assertive, positive and persistent style
  • Ability to understand and accurately forecast your book of business
  • Understands the importance of documenting activities and conversations within sales tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse prospects at the C-level
  • Motivated, self-starter with effective time management skills
  • Ability to work independently, as well as being a collaborative team member
  • Experience with business-to-business sales, particularly at the executive level
  • SaaS strongly preferred
