About Our Client
My client is a nonprofit organization. They are seeking a Accounts Receivable Clerk to join their team ASAP. This is a direct hire opportunity, and will allow you to work on-site.
Job Description
- Document AR procedures and identify any improvements [accuracy, efficiency, reporting]
- Utilize Excel to prepare monthly AR reports
- Work with Accounting Director to improve reporting to provide actionable information to management for budgeting and projections
- Process cash receipts, such as checks, cash, and credit card payments
- Research and resolve payment discrepancies, duplicate payments, research customer inquiries
- Coordinate monthly billing
- Review AR batches submitted for review
- Assist with commissions and completed contracts reports
- Assist with audit schedule
The Successful Applicant
- Completed Bachelors degree
- 6 months experience required
- Intermediate Excel experience required
- Able to work on-site in NYC
- Must be fully vaccinated for consideration
