Our outpatient psychiatric clinic is looking for a caring and compassionate individual, who has experience working with people who have a mental illness. Special training in psychology or psychiatry is not required for this position, but the ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and show initiative when approaching a new subject. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, be capable of multitasking, and be able to work on their own initiative as well as within a team environment. Great customer service is expected with great communication by phone.

Responsibilities:

• Record patient's information accurately and clearly.
• Explain the psychiatrist's instructions to patient and family members in a clear way.
• Help providers with their tasks.
• Insurance and eligibility verification.
• Assist with initial intake using Icanotes EHR.
• Handle the daily activities of an office/clinic.
• Communication with clients is done remotely only, no face to face with clients, no office visits by clients. All consultations are done by telehealth.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
