Job Description:
The Medical Assistant will be responsible for assisting healthcare professionals in the delivery of patient care. The successful candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for:
- Assisting with patient care, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and assisting with procedures
- Managing referrals and prior authorizations
- Administering injections and medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Assisting with durable medical equipment
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Performing other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Ability to travel between locations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
