Summary of the position:
The Medical Assistant participates in the delivery of excellent family practice and pediatric care in an ambulatory clinic setting with an emphasis on the prevention of disease; preparation of the patient for examination and/or procedures; administers medications under direction of provider; performs in office lab procedures and phlebotomy on pediatric and adult patients; sterilizes instruments and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations. This will include actively participating and supporting primary clinical teams with these efforts. This position is full-time and located in Las Vegas, NV. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package with paid time off and paid holidays. Nevada Health Centers, Inc. (NVHC) is a federally funded, community health center that has been providing health services throughout the state of Nevada for over 30 years.
