Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Medical Assistant to support our healthcare team by performing basic medical procedures, assisting with patient care, and providing administrative support. This role is ideal for someone who values flexibility, seeks opportunities for growth, and wishes to work closely with providers who truly care about their team and patients. Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply, as we aim to serve a diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform basic medical procedures, including taking vital signs but excluding minor surgical procedures.
• Prepare patients for examinations and assist healthcare providers during patient visits.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records by coding and filing documents efficiently.
• Provide medical administrative support, such as scheduling appointments, managing phone calls, and handling patient inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain the confidentiality of patient information.
• Assist with patient education and provide clear instructions for at-home care.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications:

• Certification or diploma in Medical Assisting from an accredited program.
• Proven experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred, but motivated entry-level candidates are also welcome to apply.
• BLS certified.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare operations.
• Bilingual abilities are a significant plus.

Pay: $17.54 - $18.68 per hour
