Full Service Moving
For customers that do not have the time or resource to move themselves we provide both full residential and commercial services. Our service picks up and delivers our customers’ items to their new location in a clean, modern, visually pleasing truck fleet that will attract welcome attention from the neighbors. The Local Motion Fleet and uniformed professional movers reinforce customers’ values which say, "I care about my valuable possessions." Local Motion's team of professionals will create a stress free day utilizing refined moving procedures. These procedures have been crafted and documented within our certification training programs. Local Motion is mindful of the 3 C’s—Communication, Customer Care, and Cost Sensitivity—and nurtures them in our culture.
Portable Storage
Local Motion avoids using portable storage containers that sits on customers’ property. Portable containers are susceptible to break-ins, and can be subject to city nuisance ordinances. Instead, we bring our containers to customers’ homes and load them in just a few hours. Local Motion then returns the containers to a secure, climate-controlled warehouse where customer possessions will remain until they are ready to access. Packing and Unpacking
Most customers have little time, and packing can take customers weeks. Our packing service completes the job in a day, freeing customers to concentrate on other details of the move. Local Motion will arrive one to two days before the move date to begin packing. Unpacking services are also available to get our customers up and running. Local Motion professionals are experts at packing and will avoid damage to the customer items. They even bring all the boxes to get customers packed, allowing them more for their daily activities.
In-Home Moving
This service is a way for Local Motion to make a brief introduction and develop the customer base. This is a convenient service for customers moving items from room to room, refinishing floors, remodeling, or even if they need that larger oversized item moved out of the way.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients.
Duties:
1. Move Morning Check-In
i. Record all Departure Reports Pass / Fail
ii. Contact Teams to complete Departure Reports
iii. Alert Penny/David on Fails
iv. Remind Teams of compliance
v. Ensure each employee completes the morning check-in procedure.
vi. Assign crews in the dispatch system.
2. Move During the Day Check-In
a. Service Delay Coordination
i. Check with Team on readiness
ii. Inform Customer on "Delay"
iii. Inform Team to contact customer when in Route
iv. Check Voicemail for any over-night job cancellations
b Change Orders Execution
i. Work with Team, Customer and Management
3. Confirmation Calls - for the next three days:
i. Confirm the addresses.
ii. Confirm the start and end times with the customers.
iii. Confirm the onsite contact person.
4. Assign proper crews to each order.
5. Operational Incidents
a. Come up with a quick plan for daily operations matters, include but not limited to:
i. Packing supplies needed
ii. On site opportunities
iii. Truck breakdown
5. Billing Details
a. Final Transactions
i. Review the Billing Lines and Descriptions.
ii. Run the Transactions
iii. Finish the Billing Posting
- Answer incoming customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat
- Resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner
- Provide service information and billing details to customers
- Process orders, returns, and exchanges
- Upsell products or services to customers when appropriate.
- Conduct outbound calls to follow up on customer inquiries or feedback
- Maintain accurate customer records in the database
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure customer satisfaction
