Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced Mechanical Engineer with expertise in HVAC systems to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, analyzing, and optimizing HVAC systems to meet the unique needs of our clients. From conceptualization to implementation, the Mechanical Engineer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that exceed expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop innovative HVAC systems tailored to client specifications, considering factors such as energy efficiency, sustainability, and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct comprehensive analyses, simulations, and calculations to assess the performance and reliability of HVAC systems.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to integrate HVAC solutions seamlessly into building designs.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation for HVAC projects.
• Evaluate new technologies and materials to enhance the performance and cost-effectiveness of HVAC systems.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams throughout the entire lifecycle of HVAC projects.
• Conduct field inspections and assessments to ensure that HVAC installations meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in project meetings, presentations, and client consultations to communicate technical concepts effectively.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Proven experience (X years) in the design, analysis, and implementation of HVAC systems, preferably in a consulting or engineering firm.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and HVAC design tools (e.g., EnergyPlus, TRACE 700).
• Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer principles as they apply to HVAC systems.
• Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations governing HVAC design and installation (e.g., ASHRAE, International Mechanical Code).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to troubleshoot complex HVAC issues effectively.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or willingness to obtain licensure within a reasonable timeframe.
