About the Role :
The Innovation Office (IO) Director works closely with the IO Leader (EVP of Global Strategy and Business Development) to drive critical initiatives for innovation and value creation at LexisNexis. The IO covers high priority strategic and operational initiatives across the global business, with initiatives ranging from prioritization of product investments to operational enhancement using generative AI tools. We are looking for a high performing individual who can demonstrate disciplined delivery and collaborate with key stakeholders to drive the IO process and outcomes.
Responsibilities :
Responsibilities include:
  • Manage and support the weekly IO cadence in a disciplined manner to deliver results across IO initiatives
  • Ensures timely preparation of materials for IO meetings with LNLP business groups, the IO Leader briefing, etc.
  • Drives decision and action through weekly IO cadence, with clear action tracking and coordination of logistics across stakeholders
  • Coordinates and problem solves with the IO team and workstream leads to drive decisions and action each week
  • Checks in with IO team and workstream leads on a regular basis to identify when and where things are going well vs off track
  • Identifies the root cause of value leakage and helps teams get back on track - e.g., identifying the right stakeholders and subject matter experts to engage
  • Synthesizes IO performance and drives IO communication for key stakeholders
  • Produces relevant documents for internal communication and review of IO highlights with senior leadership
  • Prepares and disseminates IO updates for all IO participants (e.g., process guidance, progress updates)
  • Serves as a champion and expert of initiative tracking tool, managing it centrally and providing support for IO participants
  • Uses the tracker daily to track progress of initiatives through the pipeline, working with the IO team to ensure proper management and data hygiene
  • Schedules and helps deliver training and best practices to users across LexisNexis
  • Supports the delivery of LNLP CEO presentations and senior leadership events (e.g., board presentations, investor updates)
  • Contributes to the development of the global strategy team by sharing knowledge across the team and business and participating in team learning and recruiting initiatives
Requirements :
  • MBA or equivalent education and experience
  • 10 years experience, or 8 years including 4 years in a top-tier consulting firm
  • Quantitative modeling in MS Excel; strong MS PowerPoint and Word skills

  • Integrity and collaboration - seen as an individual who can present the truth in an appropriate and helpful manner and effectively collaborate with teams

The salary range provided in this posting is the base salary range for NYC.$150,300.00 - $279,100.00
