POSITION SUMMARY:
The Controller manages and oversees the Accounting, IT, Office Administration, HR and Payroll functions. Assists CEO with the financial affairs of the organization by preparing all financial analyses of operations, including interim and final financial statements with supporting schedules. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A large degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Construction accounting experience is required. Reports directly to the President & CEO.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Directly supervises employees and fulfills supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
