The Leidos Health Group is currently looking for a Research Program Manager to support the Directed Energy (DE) department at the Naval Medical Research Unit, San Antonio (NAMRU-SA) in San Antonio, TX. NAMRU-SA conducts gap driven combat casualty care, craniofacial, and directed energy research to improve survival, operational readiness, and safety of Department of Defense personnel engaged in routine and expeditionary operation.

Main Objective:
Facilitate information flow between program members, scientific directors, and the Command
Assists with gathering information for research program taskers.
Assists with the development and formulation of fiscal year budget requests for research
Assists with the gathering of Government prepared documentation for contract actions and proposals and ensure completion in accordance with established policies and procedures
Assists with various research related administrative tasks and tracks spreadsheets based on purchases made by the Government and/or the contractor for research related items
Tracks study expenditures and reports financial status related to research
Maintains and organizes Government prepared research documents
Provides recommendations on labor/manpower utilization and workflow to increase efficiency and productivity
Perform market research regarding development of study budget and provides to Government for decision-making
Confirms sponsored monthly, quarterly, and annual reports in accordance with sponsor guidelines and templates
Assists Government personnel in initiating and maintaining regularly IACUC/IRB requirements
Ensures Government prepared documentation is available for various research meetings
What Set You Apart:
Bachelor's degree with seven years of related experience or Master's degree with five years of related experience or equivalent. Degree should be in a related field
Knowledge of IACUC/IRB requirements.
Experience support a military medical research laboratory.
Experience in Directed Energy or DE-related research is preferred.
Possess or be able to acquire, at a minimum, a SECRET classification access level. Preference will be given to a candidate who already has this clearance level
Due to Federal contract requirements, US citizenship is required

Pay Range:Pay Range $55,250.00 - $99,875.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
