CHILDREN'S BEREAVEMENT CENTER is Hiring a SCHOOL BASED PROGRAM MGR Near San Antonio, TX

Position Description: Job Summary
The School-Based Program Manager oversees the delivery of school-based services as part of a collaborative team including CBCST staff, district and school personnel, and other community partners. School-Based Program Manager ensures direct services consistent with CBCST requirements and accurate collection of client and service delivery data in compliance with contractual and stakeholder requirements. Oversight of school-based staff includes hiring and managing licensed counselors and oversight of intake and assessment, treatment planning, counseling, and peer support groups.
Job Description
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS:
A. Direct Responsibilities/Duties
Coordinate with school district personnel to establish and execute Memorandum of Understanding for each school year
Establish and maintain positive relationships with campus personnel including principals, social workers, school counselors, and other community partners to ensure program delivery. Attend district events and meetings as required for successful partnerships and provide professional development for district staff as requested.
Consult with school therapists to assess appropriateness of group or individual counseling referrals and advocate with school officials to ensure compliance with HIPAA, Texas Family Law and LPC Codes.
Ensure appropriate consent is obtained before individual counseling and/or peer support group attendance.
Monitor administration of pre and post group assessments and collection of other evaluative service data as required for contractual obligations and comply with all funding requirements.
Ensure CBCST school-based staff are current with background checks and training required by districts and CBCST.
Provide professional development trainings for districts, including requests outside school-based collaborations.
Provide supervision for graduate level therapists and/or LPC Associates
Review resumes and hire school-based clinicians in partnership with Program Director. Provide training for new hires.
Approve and submit timesheets and mileage reimbursement for school-based staff. COUNSELOR/SCHOOL BASED PROGRAM MANAGER 2
Facilitate weekly School-Based program meetings to update team on administrative changed and policies and provide case-consultation.
Manage creation of grief- and trauma-informed group curriculum. Order and track supplies and manage inventory of CBCST supplies.
B. CBCST Program Team Duties
Attend weekly Program Meetings and all staff meetings at CBCST.
Supervise up to two student counselors to ensure completion of required hours.
Carry appropriate individual caseload.
Maintain open communication and collaboration with all CBCST staff and departments
Coordinate student death related crisis support requests from area schools
EDUCATION/SKILLS/TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
Licensed Masters degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field
Two -3 years of post-masters experience in related field
Experience in grief, loss and trauma for children and adults
Experience in working with diverse and multicultural populations
Strong organizational skills, time management skills and adept at multi-tasking
Strong verbal and writing communication skills including public speaking
Excellent people skills such as, leadership, teamwork, and customer service
Proficient use of computers, internet, social media, Microsoft Office suite of programs, and multi-line phone system
Bilingual preferred
