Lazydays RV is Hiring a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist Near Tampa, FL
SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for processing, paying, and handling all company expenses as well as following up on exceptions.
Prepare required reports.
Work with peripheral programs for employee expenses, P-cards, and E-payments.
Input all assigned payables on a timely basis.
Prepare work for scanning and forward.
Review vendor statements for dated invoices and research.
Review and update vendor file, 1099 information, addresses, payment terms, etc.
Reconciles to assigned GL’s.
Pay vendors on a timely basis.
Administer positive pay daily.
Issue COD and other On Demand Payments as required.
Pay wires, ACH Floor plan, and other forms of payment.
Handle cash and misc payment cards.
End of month reconciling.
Review past due items with the Accounts Payable Supervisor.
Reviews and updates vendor file, 1099 information, addresses, payment terms, etc.
Understanding of internal control concepts and processes to mitigate risks.
Attend all company required meetings.
Additional responsibilities as requested or required.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- 5 years' experience with accounts payable
- Experience with Account Payable systems.
- Ability to speak, read, write and comprehend English
Must have excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Organization skills.
- Ability to balance account detail to General Ledger.
- Ability to verify data for completeness and accuracy and reconcile discrepancies.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred
