Position Overview: As a Litigation Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting attorneys in all stages of litigation. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of legal procedures, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced legal environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Case Management:
- Assist attorneys in managing and organizing case files and legal documents.
- Maintain and update case calendars, deadlines, and schedules.
Legal Research:
- Conduct legal research to support case preparation.
- Summarize and analyze legal documents, statutes, and regulations.
Document Preparation:
- Draft, edit, and proofread legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery.
- Prepare and organize exhibits and trial materials.
Discovery Process:
- Assist in the discovery process by managing document production and responses.
- Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties in discovery matters.
Trial Support:
- Assist in trial preparation, including witness lists, exhibits, and courtroom logistics.
- Provide support during trial, including managing documents and coordinating with witnesses.
Client Communication:
- Communicate with clients to provide case updates and gather necessary information.
- Maintain regular contact with clients to address inquiries and concerns.
Billing and Record-Keeping:
- Assist in the preparation of client invoices and billing statements.

Administrative Tasks:

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate from an accredited program.
- 5 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal.
- Strong understanding of legal procedures, court rules, and litigation processes.
