Position Summary:
As Senco brand ambassadors, our Technical Sales Specialists operate within the exciting world of industrial manufacturing. They leverage their product knowledge, industry understanding and world class management to help their accounts operate effectively. Partnering with key decision makers, our industrial specialists troubleshoot strategic problems, assist with repairs, collaborate on inventory and shipping needs, and explore opportunities for growth. They’re hands-on, passionate, and professional.
Specific Responsibilities:
1. Drive sales within assigned accounts
2. Identify expansion and/or growth opportunities
3. Manage relationships with key decision makers
4. Provide regular, on-site service calls to plants /manufacturing facilities
5. Oversee the repair process for all Senco tools.
6. Conduct product, safety, and application demonstrations
7. Assist with orders, inventory needs and shipping issues
8. Develop an understanding of the territory and local accounts
9. Participate in trade shows
Basic Qualifications/Skills Requirements:
1. Minimum High School Diploma and/or technical certification.
· One to two years technical experience preferred
· Experience with pneumatic tools preferred.
· Sales/Service experience in a manufacturing/production/plant environment preferred.
· Trade Certifications a plus.
· Bilingual (Spanish) a plus.
· Experience in customer relationship management.
2. Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal.
· Effectively communicate with key decision makers both internally and externally.
3. Strong work ethic, self-motivated, with a heavy desire for winning and achieving excellence.
4. Proactive self-starter who can work unsupervised.
5. Team oriented.
6. Highly computer literate – Microsoft Office as well as social media savvy.
7. Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
8. Ability to travel overnight 40 – 50% of the time.
