Job Summary
KMS is seeking an Accounts Payable Associate. The successful candidate has proven Accounts Payable experience, has a strong attention to detail and is able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Process invoices, match invoices to purchase orders
- Verify invoice accuracy and promptly resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal departments
- Maintain vendor relationships and communicate effectively to resolve payment issues
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve outstanding balances
- Record, summarize and classify financial data
- Keep and maintain financial records; generate and analyze accounts payable related reports
- Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy
- Collaborate with accounting team on accounting related tasks
Position Requirements
- Associates Degree, Preferred
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles
- Proven Experience in Accounts Payable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Superior organizational skills
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information
- Manage multiple projects with shifting deadlines
- Proficiency with Word, Excel and Outlook
Compensation
- $40,000 - $45,000/year
