Position Overview:

Join our team as an Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Data Entry specialist and play a vital role in our financial operations. As part of our dynamic team, you will be responsible for accurately inputting financial data related to accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. Your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy will ensure the integrity of our financial records while supporting the smooth operation of our financial systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Entry: Input invoices, payments, and other financial transactions into accounting software and ERP systems with accuracy and efficiency.

2. Accounts Payable Support: Assist in processing invoices, verifying accuracy, and maintaining vendor records.

3. Accounts Receivable Support: Assist in generating invoices, tracking payments, and reconciling accounts receivable ledger.

4. Documentation: Maintain organized and accurate records of financial transactions, invoices, payments, and correspondence.

5. Quality Assurance: Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data entry. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any discrepancies and maintain financial integrity.

6. Adherence to Procedures: Follow established procedures and guidelines for accounts payable and accounts receivable data entry processes.

7. Communication: Communicate effectively with team members to ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions.

8. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements in data entry operations. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to implement changes and streamline workflows.

Additional Requirements:

- Missing work and tardiness will not be tolerated.

- Must work well with others in a collaborative team environment.

- Strict adherence to cell phone policy: cell phone use is prohibited during work hours.

- Ability to work at a fast pace while paying meticulous attention to details and requirements.

- Completes all work daily, ensuring tasks are not carried over to the next day.

- Adheres to break and lunch time schedules.

- Highly detail-oriented and precise with data entry processes.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Previous experience in data entry, preferably in an accounting or finance-related role.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic computer skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

- Prior experience in aerospace manufacturing is a plus but not required.
