Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist with expertise in operating 3, 4, and 5-axis machines in an aerospace manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, able to interpret engineering drawings, and possess a strong commitment to producing top-quality aerospace components.

Responsibilities:

- Operate and maintain CNC machines (3, 4, and 5-axis) to produce aerospace components.

- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate machining.

- Monitor machine performance, make necessary adjustments, and troubleshoot any issues.

- Perform quality inspections and make necessary measurements to ensure components meet precise tolerances.

- Perform setups if skilled to do so.

- Maintain a clean and organized work area.

- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.

- Missing work and tardiness will not be tolerated.

- Must work well with others in a collaborative team environment.

- Conscious of not wasting supplies, ensuring optimal utilization.

- Strict adherence to cell phone policy: cell phone use is prohibited during work hours.

- Ability to work at a fast pace while paying meticulous attention to details and requirements.

- Keeps pace with the best personnel in the department, striving for continuous improvement.

- Adheres to break and lunch time schedules.

- Avoid standing in groups visiting with other employees when should be paying attention to their work.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in CNC machining is preferred.

- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating CNC machines, with specific experience in aerospace machining.

- Proficiency in operating 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC machines.

- Strong understanding of engineering and setup documents.

- Familiarity with aerospace materials (e.g., titanium, aluminum, stainless steel) and their machining requirements.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong commitment to safety.
