Description

The Administrative Office of the Courts is the operational arm of the Judicial Branch. The court system employs nearly 3,300 personnel who support 406 elected justices, judges, and circuit court clerks.
Office Of Finance And Administration, Department of Court Facilities, Division Of Real Property has an immediate need to fill an AUTOCAD SPECIALIST position in Franklin County.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Produces rough sketches on-site.
• Uses cad software to prepare detailed floor plan and space layout.
• Visits sites occupied by the KCOJ to gather information and determine limitations and feasibility of designs.
• Updates software, drawings, and other documents.
• Ensures drawings are compliant with KCOJ-occupied facility standards.
• Communicates potential design issues to engineers and architects.
• Presents rough design drafts for management approval.
• Presents various design perspectives for construction improvements and adaptations.
• Prepares furniture layouts and coordinates furniture orders.
• Reviews and approves invoices/payments associated with furniture.
• Other duties as assigned.
