Job Title : Tier 2 Desktop Support Specialist
Location : Pennsylvania Avenue Washington, DC 20037
Type : ONLY on W2 contract (NO C2C)
Length : 12 months
Pay Rate Can go up to $32 per hour
Tier 2 Desktop Support Specialist to provide all personnel day-to-day Information Technology (IT) technical support for software and hardware, network connectivity, conference rooms, hoteling space and telephony.
Core responsibilities include prioritization of workload, management of the ticketing system queue, and engagement and collaboration with other IT team members as part of a global IT organization.
Prior experience supporting executive management teams a plus. The role is based in Washington DC, the global headquarters
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
Pro-actively troubleshoot end user issues as needed, and identify and capture root cause, action items, and lessons learned after all incidents and infrastructure events.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS :
Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills Ability to present material both live and via conference / video calls Ability to work flexible hours including after hours and during weekends Knowledge of macOS, Windows 10, Active Directory, Group Policy and Microsoft Application management.
EDUCATION :
2-4 years of college experience preferred. MCSA, A , Net certifications considered a plus.
EXPERIENCE :
3 years supporting end users in a corporate, enterprise environment
