Kellanova is Hiring a Remote Associate Finance Director
Are you ready to take your career to new heights in the world of Finance? As Associate Finance Director, you will support our Grocery Sales team. Acting as the key Finance business partner, you will be responsible for creating a strategic vision along with the day-to-day delivery of company objectives. While you are at it, you will be building your network and expertise in a thriving environment of professional development, and you will be an integral part of the Grocery Team. We are looking for top talent in Chicago, IL area but may be open to individuals in other remote US locations.
Working cross-functionally, you will get to collaborate with creative and innovative sales professionals. Together you will drive strategy while building a vision for our future. We will look to you to challenge the status quo and influence decision-making. You will play a key role in ensuring visibility into financial opportunities, integrity of our financial statements, and viable financial solutions for our in-market investment and execution.
A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
Strategic Planning – In this role, you’ll lead strategic planning and help define investment posture and key components of the strategic planning process. We are looking for someone with both a strategic mindset and the ability to work in the details.
Direct Business Partnering – You will partner closely with the Sales Teams, Category Teams, and other functions. Providing financial visibility and analysis, you will influence decisions and provide a financial and business lens for the prioritization of investments.
Financial Management – Your financial acumen will drive our future with confidence. You will be responsible for leading special project work, financial modeling, and “what if” analyses to influence leaders/team members on prioritization of spend to deliver against financial targets. In addition, you will be a key contributor to the planning and forecast processes. Understanding the future impact of today’s choices is a key component of success in this role.
We’re Looking for Someone With
Bachelor’s Degree in a Finance/Business related field and/or significant related work experience.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook).
Attention to detail and strong analytical, decision-making, and communication skills.
Practical experience understanding the link between business issues and P&L/Cash Flow.
Pivots and large data manipulation ability.
Experience with SAP-specific financial planning systems is preferred.
CPG Experience with proficient knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) and other financial planning systems is a plus.
