Celebrated by Ad Age as Data and Insights Agency of the Year, U.S Campaign’s Brand Experience Agency of the Year, Media Network of the Year and celebrated by Forrester and Gartner, Digitas serves the world’s leading brands through a global network comprised of more than 5,500 employees across over 65 offices in 43 countries.Job DescriptionAssociate Director - FinanceAs an Associate Director of Client Finance you’ll work closely with client and regional finance teams while supervising and supporting project requests. Day-to-day, your role includes:Partner with relationship managers to influence positive financial managementSupervise forecast submissions and monitor monthly close processManage cash flow projections, account billing and receivablesMitigate financial risks and provide insight on financial implications of changeLead in development of career path for staffManage client and regional finance team meetings on financial metricsAppropriately represent and encourage growth within departmentResolve issues with areas of potential negative financial exposureProvide thorough recommendations to solve business issuesReview and analyze key financial metrics including profitability driversExplain and translate financial reports to team membersExhibit judgment on when to evaluate issues and when to resolve independentlyPrioritize and streamline tasks to ensure accuracy QualificationsWe’re looking for strong, impactful work experience, which typically includes:7-9 years of professional Finance or Accounting experience, ideally in a digital marketing / advertsing agency environmentSupervisory experience with ability to create overall efficiency that benefits department and clientsProficiency in MS Office Advanced knowledge of financial reporting systems (Altair, Business Objects)Solid understanding of accounting concepts (debits/credits, revenue recognition, DSO calculation, cash vs. accrual based accounting)Understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley complianceExcellent communication, time management and organizational skillsCandidate must be open to travel as neededGot what it takes?
