Jonathan Club is Hiring a Front Desk Receptionst Near Santa Monica, CA
As the Jonathan Club’s Beach Front Desk Receptionist, this position will be responsible for the daily operation of the Front Office. Individuals will work directly with our office staff to ensure all administrative tasks are efficiently and effectively implemented. Must have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks at once, and a wide breadth of experience managing clerical responsibilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
2. Take reservations for the Dining Room Staff when the Dining Room is closed or busy.
3. Take reservations for all special events and confirm those reservations. In taking these reservations, employees must also keep a running tally of the reservations to not overbook. Relay all information to Catering, Special Events, Dining, or a specific committee.
4. Work as the cashier, host, or receptionist at special events.
5. Organize all inter-office envelopes.
6. Act as a part-time assistant to all other department heads by taking phone messages and typing various documents as required.
7. Answer phone calls and emails.
8. Maintain locker waitlists.
9. Maintain files for special events, invoices, and various forms.
10. Take requests for guest cards. Fill out appropriate forms and send them to the Accounting Department along with the updated guest card list.
11. Assist all employees/members with the lost and found items.
