About the Role

The role of VP, Strategic Partnerships & Business Development is pivotal in this mission, focusing on managing and expanding credit affiliates and partnership channels. The successful candidate will be responsible for nurturing relationships with key partners such as Credit Karma, LendingTree, Nerdwallet, and others, and will be instrumental in driving the performance of these channels. This includes aligning with partners on shared goals, selling into new partnerships, and co-developing strategies to enhance the Auto-Refinance program. The VP will lead a large cross-functional team, operate in a high-velocity environment, and maintain high standards of execution.To excel in this position, candidates should be driven, with a strong focus on achieving goals and a passion for the company's core values: giving a damn, velocity, and making the assist. A Bachelor's degree or higher in business, finance, or a related field is required, along with a minimum of 10 years of experience in affiliate partner or marketing operations leadership, preferably in a start-up fintech or financial services context. The role demands excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to influence and build strong relationships. A quantitative mindset, experience in using data to drive decisions, and a deep understanding of the financial industry and regulatory landscape are essential. The candidate should also be a thought leader with a successful track record of engaging with senior leadership and have a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
