Description

Join our team as a Human Resources Coordinator

If you have excellent communication skills, want to gain valuable knowledge, and experience in the Human Resources field, and enjoy helping others this role may be for you. The ideal candidate has experience with a variety of Human Resource functions and job responsibilities including aspects of onboarding, orientation, and benefits. As our Human Resources Coordinator your responsibilities would primarily include onboarding, HRIS data entry and data collecting, as well as assisting with benefits.

Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience within Human Resources field required 
  • Two year college degree (educational requirement may be waived depending on years of relevant experience) 
  • Prior experience with HRIS preferred (Paycom HRIS experience highly preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of benefits/benefits administration 
  • Ability to understand organizational and Human Resource policies and procedures 
  • Understanding of DBHDS, DSS, CARF, or VAISEF preferred 

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain policies and procedures as related to our organization and Human Resources department 
  • Accurately pull and interpret a variety reports/data/files 
  • Support in benefits administration tasks/open enrollment 
  • Utilizing critical thinking skills and adhere to confidentiality when handling tasks and/or dealing with employees 
  • Be available to assist with answering employee questions
  • Initiate background investigations for new hires as well as reoccurring annual background checks for applicable personnel 
  • Provide assistance to HR team members to assist with additional HR functions, as needed 
  • Record maintenance for all active personnel 
  • Responsible for updating and managing Job Descriptions 
  • Assist in requisition lifecylce to include onboarding and offboarding tasks
