Job Description

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with retail clients, understanding their roofing needs, and providing exceptional service throughout the retail reroofing projects. Your strong sales skills, knowledge of roofing systems, and ability to deliver customer satisfaction will contribute to the growth and success of our company.

Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for retail clients, establishing and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Develop a deep understanding of clients' roofing needs, goals, and budgets.
  • Collaborate with clients to assess their reroofing requirements, conduct site evaluations, and provide accurate cost estimates.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on suitable roofing systems, materials, and installation techniques.
  • Present and discuss proposals, contracts, and project plans with clients, addressing any concerns or questions.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates on project progress and addressing any issues or changes.

  • Sales and Business Development:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the retail sector, including retail chains, shopping centers, and individual retail locations.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies and campaigns to target retail clients.
  • Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events to promote company services and generate leads.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitors, and potential clients.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with the estimating team to provide accurate and competitive bids to clients.

  • Project Management and Coordination:
  • Collaborate with the project management team to ensure successful execution of retail reroofing projects.
  • Coordinate and communicate client requirements, expectations, and project details to the project management team.
  • Work closely with the project management team to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Provide ongoing support and assistance to clients throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure project quality and client satisfaction.

  • Customer Satisfaction and Retention:
  • Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction by addressing client concerns, resolving issues, and exceeding expectations.
  • Monitor and evaluate client feedback, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, promoting repeat business and referrals.
  • Collaborate with the customer service team to ensure post-project follow-up and support.

  • Additional Responsibilities:
  • Handle additional responsibilities and projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in account management, sales, or business development, preferably in the commercial roofing or construction industry.
  • Proven track record of successful client relationship management and business development.
  • Strong knowledge of roofing systems, materials, and installation techniques.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Team player attitude is a must.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Strong sales and presentation skills.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and subcontractors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Ability to climb a 40-foot ladder and lift heavy objects.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • OSHA certification or willingness to complete certification.
