Summary:
Manage new and existing customer accounts.
Responsibilities include:
- Have a great attitude. A positive attitude and a team mentality are vital to our success
- Respond to customer inquiries via various mediums
- Develop and service a customer base of repeat customers
- Prospect and qualify new sales leads while maintaining a well-developed pipeline of sales prospects.
- Meet/exceed sales goals.
- Track/ update sales activity and customer information through the company CRM system.
- Planning and organizing daily responsibilities to maximize efficiency and accuracy of work.
- Develop strong customer and vendor relationships.
- Give price quotations for our products and services to maximize margins
- Process and close customer transactions such as orders, quotes, returns, etc.
- Correspond with manufacturers and negotiate purchases as needed
- Industry training provided
Requirements:
- Inside sales experience - direct plastics experience highly desired
- Strong phone and computer skills required
- Must know basic math (decimal and fraction conversions)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communication, or related experience preferred.
- Can do, outgoing and positive attitude
