Job Description
We are seeking an Outside Sales Representative to join a client in Hayward. This is a field sales role that will cover a territory in Northern California. 80% of the role will be in the field and 20% in office. The client will provide a company vehicle plus cover gas and maintenance expenses after training.
The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for the following duties.
- Grow and promote regional sales for market expansion.
- Liaise with existing and potential clients.
- Attend Industry events, conventions, set up lab tours, as requested by the sales & marketing team and/or management.
- Conduct drop bys with existing and potential clients.
- Plan and host client events for the year. Includes budgeting of events.
- Track sales activity and review sales reports in Salesforce.
- Input and follow up on leads in Salesforce for all regions.
- Conduct job walks and generate proposals.
- Identify new sales opportunities, verticals and markets.
- Enter data into Customer Report Management System (CRM).
- Attend bi-weekly Outside Sales meetings.
- Answer inquiries and follow-up with clients as needed.
- Coordinate job details with dispatch and field technicians.
- Liaison between existing and new clients.
- Evaluating customer needs.
Requirements:
- Ability to build and foster new and existing customer relationships.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Knowledge of Customer Report Management systems (CRMS).
- Proficient with Google Meets, Email, Docs, Slides, Sheets or related software.
- Ability to operate general office equipment; phone, fax, printer /copier, and computer.
- Clean driving record and ability to travel within assigned territory.
- Go getter mentality to drive the sales process.
