The HR Generalist is responsible for payroll and benefits processing, and guides the overall provision of the Human Resources services, policies, and programs. Deals with confidential information and/or issues using discretion and judgment. All duties are carried out in accordance with the company policies, SOPs, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) as well as all applicable Local, State and Federal regulations.
Responsibilities:
· Promotes the safety and health of the workforce.
· Maintains guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending Human Resource policies and procedures.
· Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing Human Resources Federal and State requirements and maintaining records and posters of up-to-date regulations.
· Develops an employee-oriented company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, and high performance.
· Processes the company's payroll every pay period.
· Maintains payroll processing system and records.
· Available to answers staff questions about wages, deductions, attendance, and time records.
· Receives and coordinates requests for leave and other absences.
· Identifies, investigates, and resolves discrepancies in timesheet and payroll records.
· Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
· Acts as a liaison between the organization and external benefits providers and vendors, which may include health insurance, staffing companies, and retirement plan providers.
· Assists with planning and execution of special events such as staff training, holiday parties, and company celebrations.
· Reviews, handles, distributes and mails 1099 and W-2 reports and forms to employees, patients, and providers.
· Files 1099 forms to the IRS following federal tax deadlines.
· Manage company insurance policies for renewal, updates, and any necessary changes.
· Performs other related duties as assigned by the Project Manager.

· Record work-related incidents and issue warning letters if applicable.
· This position reports to the Administrative Team Lead.
Qualifications:

· Knowledge and experience in human resources.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
· High attention to detail and organization.
· Ability to multitask.
· Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
· Bi-lingual English/Spanish required.
· Ability to work after hours and weekends if needed.
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
Education and Experience:
· Certification in Human Resources Management or the equivalent of years of experience.
· Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn Payroll Management, Human Resources Information System (HRIS), and or similar computer applications.
