INSIDE OUT Upstate NY is a beautifully curated guide and hyper-local online resource for those visiting, living and working in the Hudson Valley.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Media or Agency Business Development professional to join our team. You will be responsible for driving growth and expanding our customer base. You'll play a key role in developing and implementing strategic plans to achieve sales targets and increase market share.

Responsibilities

• Open new accounts, expand existing with growing list of digital products
• Conduct market research to identify trends and competitor activities
• Develop target account strategies and reports to track sales performance
• Leverage digital sales materials for prospecting and sales management
• Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to clients
• Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals
• Location: Mid-Hudson Valley

Compensation Potential: $75,000 - $100,000 per year

• Base Salary (dependent on experience)
• Plus Commission
• Plus Performance Bonus

Qualifications

• Highly motivated, innovative and organized sales professional
• Must have 2 years' experience with print or digital sales
• Experience with Hudson Valley sales a plus
• Proven track record in identifying new business opportunities and driving growth
• Strong knowledge of CRM, Word, Excel, PPT/Slides and Social Media
• Superior verbal, written and presentation skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to close deals and meet sales targets
• Persistent self-starter with proven ability to meet quotas and close sales on a consistent basis
