The Double Tree by Hilton Hotel is searching for an experienced, energetic Banquet Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years experience. Please apply with your resume.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of banquet operations, including planning, organizing, set up and executing events.
- Manage and coordinate staff to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and exceed their expectations.
- Review banquet event orders (BEOs) and ensure accurate communication of event details to all departments.
- Conduct pre-event meetings with staff to review event details and expectations.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely replenishment.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in food handling and service.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create menus that meet client preferences and dietary restrictions.
- Provide leadership and guidance to banquet staff, including training, coaching, and performance evaluations.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional and timely manner.
Qualifications:
- Previous minimum 2 years experience required in banquet management or related field preferred.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control, bartending, cooking, and food service management.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy in event planning and execution.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with clients, staff, and vendors.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities to motivate and inspire a team.
- Proficiency in Micros point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
