Job Description:

Hite Consulting is seeking multiple Operations Specialists to support our client at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). These positions will perform a variety of complex administrative duties to support staffing and other program operations. These positions are a hybrid role working remotely and on-site, with client engagement activities in Atlanta, GA. Candidates should be local to the Atlanta area. This position is currently waiting to be awarded. 

Position Duties:

• Assists with onboarding and offboarding staff, consistent with CDC policies and procedures;
• Prepares and tracks personnel actions;
• Assists with recruiting and filling vacant positions, consistent with existing guidelines, systems, and timelines;
• Plans, coordinates, and contributes to pre-consultation meetings held between program and HR officials to ensure appropriate and timely determination of position needs and eligibility requirements;
• Develops, processes, and tracks personnel packages;
• Cross-checks position vacancies with approved hiring plans;
• Monitors and reports progress on recruiting and hiring activities;
• Conducts data entry, utilizing existing spreadsheets and/or other government software;
• Maintains and updates employee data in CDC HR systems;
• Assists in the preparation, review, and coordination of information, decision documents, special reports, and other programmatic documents required for successful administrative management and operations;
• Performs other duties as assigned.

 Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree and four (4) plus years of professional administrative office experience; or Associate’s degree with at least six (6) plus years of professional administrative office experience preferably at a federal level;
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 programs including Word, Excel, Teams, Calendar, Outlook, Access, and PowerPoint;
• Working knowledge of CDC systems such as People Processing, EHCM, USA Staffing, ERS, PBMS, WFMS, PMAS, and EASI;

• Experience working in a fast-paced environment requiring multi-tasking with attention to detail;
• Effective project management skills;

• Ability to work independently without day-to-day supervision and as a part of a team;
• Exceptional verbal and written communications skills and ability to adjust to changing situations; 
• CDC experience is preferred;
• US Citizenship required with the ability to obtain or maintain an active NACI security clearance.

• Strong analytical and MS Excel skills;

• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and accomplish work under short timelines;
• Ability to multi-task, managing multiple administrative processes in a timely manner;
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a customer service focus.
