Job Summary:
Henderson Financial Group is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Executive Assistant to provide administrative support to our President and Chief Executive Officer. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, be proficient in financial data entry and clerical tasks, and have experience working in a fast-paced office environment. Also should be experienced in performing basic financial record keeping in programs such as Excel or QuickBooks, handling funds and correspondence with confidentiality and care, and have some working knowledge of insurance and financial concepts. Maintaining detailed, accurate financial records is a must.
Responsibilities:
- Personally provide full executive and administrative support to the President of the firm
- Manage basic financial books and records for which the President is a Board Member / Treasurer
- Research and summarize insurance quotes for life, disability, and long-term care insurance policies
- Manage President‘s calendar, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings
- Prepare and distribute correspondence, memos, and reports
- Perform data entry, file management, and document organization
- Assist with travel arrangements and expense reporting
- Conduct research and compile information for presentations and reports
- Provide general administrative support such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and ordering office supplies
- Handle confidential information with discretion
Experience:
- Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or similar role. Financial industry experience is a strong plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and other office software applications
- Excellent computer literacy skills, including typing proficiency
- Previous experience as a personal assistant is a plus
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or other accounting software is a plus
