As the Executive Marketing Assistant, your role will be pivotal in actualizing the strategic marketing visions set forth by our Marketing Director and senior leadership. This role is tailor-made for someone with a drive to enact substantial change, leading innovative projects, nurturing team collaboration, and executing strategic marketing initiatives with a blend of creativity and strategic insight.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership and Project Oversight: Guide our core marketing team, including a social media manager, graphic designer, and copywriter, from the start to the finish of creative projects with enthusiasm and precise attention to detail. Your responsibilities will involve coordinating daily projects, efficiently allocating resources, and ensuring that our agents receive comprehensive support for all their marketing requirements.
  • Marketing Material Creation: Use your eye for design and understanding of luxury to create marketing materials that connect with our high-end clients. Your creations will need to be visually stunning and effectively communicate our brand’s message, captivating our audience.
  • Video Production: Take our brand's story to the next level by editing top-quality video content. You’ll be working with an experienced video and audio production team and set a new standard in real estate marketing, showcasing properties in a way that is both engaging and superior to the competition.
  • Support and Insights for Marketing: Be a source of marketing wisdom for our agents by providing them with strategies and insights to make their listings stand out. Your support will be key in helping our agents excel in a competitive market.
  • Upholding Brand Quality: Guard the quality and integrity of our brand by applying strict quality control measures and maintaining the highest standards in all marketing efforts. As the brokerage’s brand manager, your meticulous approach will ensure our brand always represents luxury, sophistication, and innovation.

Qualifications:

Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, providing you with a strong foundation in marketing principles.

Leadership Experience: Proven ability in managing creative teams, showing you can motivate and guide a team to success and carrying out the vision of the marketing director and the Sotheby’s International standard of excellence.

Technical Proficiency: Skilled in video editing and graphic design tools, including but not limited to Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut or After Effects, and Affinity Design/Photo. Proficiency in Google Suite is also required.

Social Media Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in social media applications across various platforms, understanding how to create graphics and content for Meta, Google Ads and others.

Strong Communication and Organization: Excellent at communicating ideas clearly, working well with others, and managing tasks efficiently in a fast-moving environment.

Flexibility: Capable of adapting to changing situations and priorities, staying calm and focused when under pressure. Able to switch gears quickly when timelines are adjusted.

Ability to:

  • Work independently, managing deadlines and complying with reporting requirements.
  • Interact with the brand staff and interpret/understand/visualize what is being requested and then translate it into an image consistent product.
  • Make independent decisions within scope of responsibility.
  • Concentrate on and effectively complete priority tasks with limited supervision.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business administration or a related field
  • 2-5 years of experience in marketing preferred
