HELP USA is Hiring a Clinical CTI Supervisor Near Bronx, NY

Program: Homebase Service Area 2 | 815 Burke Avenue, Bronx, NY 10467 What You'll DoAs part of New York City’s plan to end homelessness, the Department of Homeless Services established Homebase Homeless Prevention Community Resource Centers throughout New York City. Homebase programs are designed to assist families and individuals who are homeless or at imminent risk for becoming homeless to develop a plan for long-term housing stability. Homebase helps clients navigate the complicated eviction process, offers financial and money management counseling, helps clients obtain public benefits, provides short-term financial assistance, and helps with relocation if necessary.As Critical Time Intervention/Clinical Supervisor for one of our Homebase programs reporting to the Homebase Executive Director, you'll work closely with the Executive Director and Assistant Executive Director to integrate the Critical Time Intervention (CTI) case management model into Homebase services. You'll be responsible for supervising the Intensive Case Managers and Senior Case Managers that provide emergency crisis intervention to individuals and families who are most at risk of becoming homeless and who need intensive case management services to prevent shelter application and/or entry.Service delivery will include: intake and assessment; case management; eviction prevention; crisis intervention; benefits advocacy; identifying issues pertaining to social services, mental health, medical, employment, and family support systems; service referrals; ensuring successful linkages to public and private agencies for on-going services; and maintaining follow up services – on an intensive level, over a period of 9 months (per client). You'll also supervise the facilitation of small groups (support, resource, etc.) to address commonly identified client issues and participate in all other program activities including outreach and program presentations, staff recruitment and training, maintaining accurate program and participant data, completing required reports, etc. Your responsibilities will include:Providing clinical and case management supervision for CTI/Intensive Staff.Ensuring the delivery of quality and appropriate services to clients via regular audits of CARES and case files.Identifying service delivery gaps and developing indicated service linkages.Identifying, coordinating, and supervising the acquisition of clinical, housing, and social services that support long-term housing stability and other goals identified in client Service Plans.Monitoring the progress of CTI/Intensive clients and ensuring timely phase transitions are achieved, as indicated by the Homebase CTI model.Maintaining effective and productive data collection systems to track CTI phases, client outcomes and service delivery, as indicated by the Homebase CTI model.Intervening in major crises such as child abuse, suicide, assault, and infant death to ensure the well-being of staff and clients, to protect the organization, and to comply with all governing regulations, etc.You’re a great fit for this role if you have:Master's degree in social work or related field preferred with Bachelor's degree required.Minimum three years supervisory, assessment, counseling and crisis intervention experience required.Knowledge of NYC social services, benefits and housing systems a plus.Strong verbal, writing and organizational skills.Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks in a timely manner and in a faced-paced environment.Computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft Office applications. Valid NYS driver's license preferred.
