As the Executive Development Manager at H-E-B, you'll facilitate talent development with leadership and HR to support executive development and high-potential Partner growth. This is an exceptional opportunity to be involved with leadership at the top of the organization as you help prepare our executives to tackle the most complex and pressing leadership challenges H-E-B faces. We are looking for:
a bachelor's degree in human resources, or a business-related field
5 years of experience in HR, business, or a related field;
2 years of experience in in executive coaching and / or talent development (preferred)
What is the work? Management:
Enhances / implements / measures effectiveness / sustains high-potential Partner planning processes, development programs, and individualized strategies to deliver appropriate solutions that enable business goals
Partners with universities, company leadership, and HR to create tailored leadership development journeys for executives that are innovative, targeted, and flexible to meet business needs (includes executive education programs, internal / external rotational experiences, and internal / external coaching)
Oversees administration of high-potential Partner development programs
Communicates programs, status of executive development activities to HR and Senior Leaders
Ensures end-to-end development, execution, and design changes for all executive programs, plans, and processes
Applies advanced performance consulting skills to diagnose development issues and make recommendations
Advising / Coaching:
Facilitates enterprise-wide talent development through intentional company-wide transfers of Leaders, in support of succession and high-potential Partner development
Advises Leaders to encourage / support growth, mobility, and development activities that prepare future executives
Advises on / leads activities using sound practices and principles; works to apply expertise in varying situations without having a defined process to follow
Partners with HR and Leaders to design creative solutions that ensure successor preparation and meet multiple business needs
Builds relationships and establishes connections with Partners across the enterprise including leaders and high potentials
Coaches Partners as they work through their development plans
What is your background?
Bachelor's degree in human resources, or a business-related field
5 years of experience in human resources, business, or a related field
2 years of experience in executive coaching and / or talent development (preferred)
