Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to join our team. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality food and exceptional dining experiences. If you have a passion for making delicious dishes and leading a team, we would love to hear from you.
Duties:
- Plan and make menu items along with ensureing a safe enviornment and dietary needs of our guests are kept
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation techniques, and food safety regulations
- Collaborate with the barista team to develop beverage pairings that complement the menu offerings
- Manage inventory levels and ensure proper storage of ingredients to minimize waste and maintain freshness
- Creating a system to ensure ticket times are at or below the agreed amount with owner.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines
- Collaborate with the event space and catering departments to plan and execute special events or functions
Qualifications:
- Proven experience working in the food industry as a Chef or in a similar role
- Available to working mornings
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, flavor profiles, and current food trends
- Excellent menu planning skills with the ability to create innovative and appealing dishes
- Proficient in managing kitchen operations, including inventory control, cost management, and scheduling
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with staff across various departments
