Company Description

The HandleBar Detroit is a team building and event company that provides corporate team building experiences through bike bars. Their events promote teamwork and collaboration while getting the office outside for celebrations like birthdays, bachelorette/bachelor parties, and tailgates.

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Sales and Events Manager. The Sales and Events Manager will be responsible for managing accounts, generating new business, creating and executing marketing campaigns, managing events, and ensuring client satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Experience in event planning, sales, and account management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Knowledge of digital marketing and social media platforms
  • Resilient and adaptable to change
  • Attention to detail and strong project management skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field

Experience working in the hospitality industry or event planning is a plus.

Requirements: - Proven experience in event management or related field. - Strong time management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients, vendors, and team members. - In-depth knowledge of event planning principles and best practices. - Proficiency in event marketing strategies to attract attendees and promote events. - Familiarity with hotel and catering industry standards for hosting events. - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail. - A passion for hospitality and creating memorable experiences for guests.
