Groom Law Group, Chartered is Hiring a Litigation Paralegal Near Washington, DC

Overview

Groom Law Group is seeking a full-time Litigation Paralegal to support our growing litigation practice area by performing a variety of general litigation support duties. The successful candidate will be a motivated self-starter and team player with the ability to balance competing demands on a variety of litigation matters. The ideal candidate must be an effective problem- solver with excellent organizational, communication, and computer skills. Some overtime needed and occasional travel. Hybrid format with ~1 day per week in the office in NW Washington DC.

Responsibilities

 Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Calendaring deadlines
  • Organizing, indexing, and producing documents and legal correspondence
  • Preparing exhibits and other legal documents
  • Operating document management and e-discovery platforms
  • Cite checking, filing court documents, and other general paralegal support

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution or paralegal certificate is required
  • Experience with litigation support software and Microsoft Office preferred
  • Federal court experience a must
  • Civil litigation experience a must
