We are growing and in need of an Administrative Assistant for our George Reed, Inc. facility.

Our Seasonal Operator II is an Intermediate-level operator responsible for manufacturing of emulsified and binder products; loading and unloading of emulsified products, hot asphalt chemicals and related supplies. Operate and understand all plant equipment.
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for front office receptionist duties, assisting and supporting all areas of Contract Administration. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Expected and accountable to maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a
manner so that you get along with customers, clients, co-workers, and management.
Maintain a positive work atmosphere to foster good communication with customers, clients, co-workers,
and management.
Communication, Attendance, and Detail Oriented are essential functions of this position.
Compose correspondence efficiently and accurately.
Knowledgeable in all areas within the department.
Greeting and assisting customers.
Process incoming and outgoing mail, including FedEx/UPS Shipments.
Deliver and Pick-up inter-office mail between Reed Family Companies and George Reed, Inc.
Ordering and maintaining GRI office supplies.
Maintain City business licenses for GRI and their Subcontractors.
Process Job Payments.
Review and process Preliminary Notices for GRI & their Subcontractors.
Assist with Subcontractor Master Agreements, Work Orders and Purchase Orders.
Assist with Agency and Subcontractor Change Orders.
Assist with requesting Subcontractor releases.
Special projects as requested or assigned.
Attend seminars, meetings, and classes as requested to remain knowledgeable in all areas of responsibility.
May be required to become a Notary Public
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty. Minimum of one year experience in an office environment
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and other software programs
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must possess the ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects, utilizing organizational skills and
communication skills.
Timely and accurate completion of work
Strong commitment to corporate goals
Ability to function in a fast-paced, demanding working environment.
One or more years of experience in an office environment or equivalent combination of education and experience
