Your Role
Gensler's office in Chicago is seeking a Regional HR Business Partner, reporting to the Regional HR Director. This position will be part of the regional HR team and have responsibility working directly with staff and leadership in Chicago, Minneapolis, and Detroit of 300 people to support all aspects of human resource & talent management services.This is an opportunity to design, lead and promote strategic HR initiatives in a cutting edge, client-focused environment.

What You Will Do
Act as thought partner to studio leadership and develop talent strategies aligned to business objectives
Manage all aspects of employee relations issues and investigations by partnering with leadership
Oversee the assessment of talent gaps & needs to ensure roles are filled with the appropriate internal/external talent considerations
Facilitate global mobility of employees with transfer, relocation, and visa processing
Support full lifecycle of the employee from on-boarding, engagement, development, exit, and retirement
Manage Gensler special recognition programs
Advise leadership regarding compensation and reward programs
Analyzes talent data, reports, metrics to inform talent decisions
Assist in developing performance management tools, formalizing succession planning, and proactively developing staff and leadership
Implements talent development and training programs and processes in partnership with Talent Development Manager
Partner with HR team colleagues to create and innovate HR practices and programs
Partner with shared services staff to deliver best in class people solutions & services
Your Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related area required
7 years of Human Resources experience; (3 years at manager level)
Working knowledge of employment law and compliance regulations at federal, state and local levels
Experience working in a Professional Services environment
Excellent organizational skills; attention to detail
Advanced MS Office proficiency preferred, particularly Excel/Power Point; In-Design, a plus
Experience with Workday preferred
Ability to produce timely deliverables and manage multiple and shifting priorities in a dynamic environment
Ability to work independently, navigate and maintain productivity in a matrix environment
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) required
Strong customer service orientation, a team player with the ability to establish and maintain collaborative working relationships
PHR/SPHR certification or equivalent preferred
