Job Purpose:

• Provides general administrative support to a department or group of professionals.
• Work is performed under limited general supervision and requires incumbents to exercise independence and discretion.
• The role may also provide secretarial services to one or more individuals.

Key interactions:

Internally:

• Facilities/ Administration, Logistics, Procurement, Finance, and other related disciplines, Taskforce team members

Externally:

• Suppliers, Vendors, licensors, and authorities

Main Responsibilities:

• Researches a wide variety of information requests independently.
• Prepares and analyzes trends and reports, drawing data from a variety of sources within and outside the department.
• Routes or answers routine correspondence not requiring supervisor’s attention.
• Assists in the formulation of the department budget, business planning, and related planning functions.
• Has regular contact with customers, partners, suppliers, or employees outside the immediate work area.
• May proceed with logistics/ travel arrangements and solve related issues, providing assistance and guidance to employees.
• Manage or coordinate special projects under limited guidance to support individual/functional operations.

Qualifications:

• Professional diploma in the discipline with a minimum 4 years of experience or 6 years of practical administrative experience.
• Fluent in English
