Full Potential HRT Clinic is Hiring a Phlebotomist/Administrative Assistant Near Renton, WA

About the position

  • This is a 40 hr/wk position
  • Work Schedule: Monday- Friday 8-530
  • Salary $50,000-60,000 per year
  • Reports to Executive Director

Essential Functions/ Major Responsibilities

OPERATIONS

  • Closely monitor systems between providers and billing to ensure operations (medical charting/documentation of encounters and medication orders) are working to maximize accuracy to protect clinical program revenue.
  • Orders medications and supplies in the right amount to reduce outdated medications and eliminate needless inventory stock and storage and informs others of vendor changes
  • Properly processes invoices and prescription records and archives in accordance with company policies and applicable State and Federal laws and regulations
  • Prescription Processing: Accurately and completely inputs all prescriptions and/or patient data into the Lifefile System according to policies and procedures
  • Ensures established inventory standards for all supplies and equipment, maintains adequate stock of items, ensures correct rotation of stock.
  • Coordinates the predictive and preventive maintenance and repair on facilities, systems and equipment
  • Compliance – Ensures clinic compliance with all regulatory agencies governing health care delivery
  • Oversee and assure HIPAA, OSHA, Safety, and other regulatory requirements are met

OSHA safety management

  • Develop and execute policies and operational goals designed to address and prevent workplace injuries and illnesses
  • Perform management and supervisory functions to ensure that the office meets performance standards established in procedures, policies, and law
  • Demonstrates and incorporates principles of safety and infection control into daily activities as outlined in organizations policies/procedures

Patient interactions:

  • Checks in patients include gathering patient information, collecting payments, creating new charts
  • Checks out patients to include addressing any additional patient concerns or needs.
  • Schedules all patients within provider guidelines.
  • Answers telephone and triages calls to determine urgency; transfers and/or leaves messages for staff and follows-up on telephone inquiries; directs callers to other providers, staff or departments when appropriate.
  • Monitors missed appointments and handles per protocol.
  • Completes opening and closing responsibilities consistently and timely
  • Maintain accurate patient charts and ensure strict confidentiality in regards to patient accounts
  • Coordinate with Back Office staff to manage care of patients
  • Partner with clinic team to provide people-oriented, respectful & inclusive workplace of belonging

Medical Support

  • Venipuncture and blood collection
  • Management of medical supplies
  • process blood samples
  • Conduct vitals
  • Room patients
  • Perform injections

Qualifications

  • 1 year of experience in medical office setting
  • MA/phlebotomist certification
  • Active BLS certification
  • 1 year of customer service experience
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously, with a high level of accuracy, speed and exhibit a willingness to work with deadlines.
  • Ability to provide service excellence, kindness, and compassion to all patients and other Full Potential HRT Clinic team members
  • Knowledge of OSHA guidelines and standards
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • EHR experience preferred
  • Basic applied math skills, including calculations and conversions
  • Skilled in developing and maintaining professional relationships

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
